GCSE 19th Century Novel Essay Support

Service Description

Students will learn how to respond to a 19th century novel exam question. They will have the opportunity to read model examples, understand the mark scheme for their exam board (it does not matter which GCSE or iGCSE exam they are taking), learn how to create clear points (topic sentences that answer the question, provide evidence to support what they have said and analyse the language use, structure and context in detail. It does not matter which text they are studying (they can keep a copy of it with them during the lesson). Students will be given individual resources and advice that suits their own text, since different schools may choose from a number of options. Spaces are limited so make sure you book well in advance. Note, there is a maximum of 8 students in a class to allow the teacher to support every student with their individual needs. Once you have booked the course, you will receive an email confirming your place. You will also receive a Google meet link with the video meet link for the course (it is the same link every week). You are entitled to a FREE consultation with your child so the teacher can assess their individual needs so please take advantage of this.
