This unit contains 6 objectives that support students to create a number of non-fiction text types (letter writing, blog/vlog, a magazine article and a class debate) while encouraging students to utilise a range of language and structure in their own writing. The reading components develop the skills required for the GCSE or iGCSE Language papers. The final lesson focuses on using language and structure effectively in a class debate. The unit will probably take 8-14 lessons depending on the group if lessons are one hour in length.
